Background

Artists Supporting Palestine is an artist-led initiative launched on March 14th 2024 to provide a way for artists and collectors to support the people of Palestine at this moment of extreme need. Like the wider population, many artists are profoundly moved by the suffering of Palestinians and feel helpless in the face of our governments' (UK, US and EU) unwavering support for Israel as it perpetrates what the ICJ has determined to be a plausible case of genocide. Artists Supporting Palestine raises funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians, a highly respected and experienced charity that works on the ground in Gaza and the West Bank to directly help the Palestinian people.

Who we are

The team behind Artists Supporting Palestine is a small group of UK-based artists, connected via social media and our local art communities. On a day to day basis, Gav does the website and Instagram and Laura designed our logo and banner. We're all supporters of the Palestinian cause and are utterly appalled at the genocide by bombing, shooting and starvation being carried out by Israel in Gaza. A small thing that we can do as artists is to use some of our work to raise money to help fund an organisation providing medical support to the victims of this horror.
