How it Works

As an artist, to join the initiative,  you simply decide to donate 100% of the sale price of one or more of your works to the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians. You then add the following link to your Instagram profile: https://www.justgiving.com/page/artists-supporting-palestine. If you are unable to add the link to your profile, please use a version of the wording in Step Two that directs people to the link that is in the @ArtistsSupportingPalestine profile. The reason for using this dedicated link is that it allows us to see the donations to MAP that have come from our specific initaive. 

Post a picture of your work on Instagram and include the following text in your post:

Title: 

Date:

Medium:

Size:

Price:

This work is offered for sale as part of the Artists Supporting Palestine @ArtistsSupportingPalestine initiative and 100% of the sale price goes to Medical Aid for Palestinians. If you would like to purchase the work, please DM me to check it is still available. Once you are confirmed as the buyer, visit the JustGiving link which you'll find in my bio or the @artistssupportingpalestine bio and make a donation equivalent to the sale price. Then take a screenshot of the confirmation of your donation and DM it to me. If there is an additional charge for P&P, I will let you know how to pay this.

#ArtistsSupportingPalestine

As a collector, to buy a work, follow the @ArtistsSupportingPalestine Instagram account and the hashtag #ArtistsSupportingPalestine. New works will first appear on Instagram as artists post them there and we repost them from the Artists Supporting Palestine account and add them to the catalogue on this website. All works are added to the website, where you can browse the entire collection in one place, but it can take a few days for works to be added and they sometimes sell before they have been added to the website. Once you find a work you wish to purchase, message the artist to check if it is still available. If it is and you wish to go ahead with the purchase, confirm this with the artist and then make a donation to MAP using the dedicated fundraiser link https://www.justgiving.com/page/artists-supporting-palestine which should be in the artist's profile, but is also in the Artists Supporting Palestine profile. You then take a screenshot of the message from JustGiving confirming your donation and send this to the artist via DM on Instagram.

If there is a charge for postage and packing, the artist will explain the method by which this should be paid, usually bank transfer, PayPal or a similar mechanism and once payment is received the artist will package up the work and post it to you, letting you know that it's on its way and if available providing you with a tracking link.
